Lignin is a by- product of pulp and paper industry, acid rich sources, low price.

Magnesium lignosulfonate is a bamboo, bagasse as the main raw materials used in the main component of fiber magnesium bisulfite pulping red liquid, as a complex material ordinary water-reducing agent or high performance additives, used in buildings, bridges, highways and other concrete engineering.But because of the differences of pulping raw material, magnesium lignosulfonate water reducing performance than wood as raw materials of pulp and red liquid of lignin sulfonate, affected the recovery of Magnesium Lignosulfonate with, cause the waste of renewable resources.

Therefore, to further improve the water-reducing performance of non woody lignosulfonate, not only can expand the scope of application of lignosulfonate water reducing agent, and has important significance for reducing the pollution of the environment and the development and utilization of renewable resources.

Magnesium lignosulfonate material complex, yield, performance fluctuations, current research on Application of weak, people also was modified to study it, but modified performance is not ideal or modified high cost.The wood of magnesium as the research object, and the wood calcium lignosulfonate  were compared, by gel chromatography, UV, IR, NMR functional groups content determination and other advanced testing and analysis methods, studies the structure characteristics of bagasse, wood magnesium surface physical-chemical properties and its application as reducing performance agent.
The results show that, the syringyl higher symmetry containing more wood in the magnesium, guaiacyl structure and calcium lignosulphonate contains more magnesium; wood weight average molecular weight of 6630, the number average molecular weight is 520, calcium magnesium deficiency of 3/5 wood wood weight average molecular weight, number average molecular weight is the wooden calcium 1/5; functional group content determination showed that the higher the sulfonic group content wood calcium, 1.15mmol · g-.
